It was during the Parent's Interaction Hour at my eldest son's school a few months ago where I first heard the term..Digital Natives & Digital Migrants.
Referring to the kids today as the former and the parents as the latter...
The teacher then emphasized the need for parents today to make deliberate efforts to adapt to the digital age... in order for us to really relate and understand our kids....
And so today I decided to begin my journey as a digital migrant dad.....
First step .... revisit my facebook account.... and do some updating.... reconnecting ..... with friends, relatives and business associates...
